今回は実際に記者会見中の会話についてです！どのような表現があるのか学んでいきましょう。

A: Which team did you belong to in Japan?

B:I was in Urawa Reds.

I had taken a role of mid fielder. Taking on this position is very important for scoring in games.

So I’m so excited to be part of this team. I will do my best as a player representing Japan.

A: Why do you want to play for this team?

B:Because FC Barcelona has a long history and they won many world championship in the past.

今回のポイントは”take a role of〇〇 :〇〇の役割を担う、です！今回はチームのポジションの事について話していますが、時には会社での役割や役職を言うときにも使えます。

I took the role of president of the company：私は会社の社長の役割を担っていました（会社の社長でした）など。自分がどんな事をやってきたか、しっかりと相手に伝えましょう。将来のビジョンや性格などの自己アピールが大事になります。

ポイントフレーズ： I had taken a role of Midfielder.　私の役割はミッドフィルダーでした。

a player representing Japan(日本代表選手）※represent：代表する、示す、象徴する、など。

A player representing Japan :日本を代表している選手、となります。（例）I’m here to represent Japan.私はここに日本を代表して来ました。
